Let's keep in touch

I found this great new way to keep in touch with you friends and family. Let's start a blog to keep each other informed of what's new in our lives. Share stories, photos and links through this great blog.

I'll start. It was a cold rainy Saturday here in eastern PA. Michael participated in the Stoudt's 12K Race and came in 56th out of 250 runners. By Sunday the weather had cleared, and it was a sunny brisk fall day at Marsh Creek State Park. We discovered some new areas off new trails. The leaves are changing and gave us a beautiful show.
We'd love to hear what your weekend was like. Join the blog!

What a great idea. David has something very similar started that he hasn't had a chance to share yet. Our weekend was quite a busy one. We had a very cold and rainy Halloween Party with one of the groups that we are part of. We dressed the babies up in their Dalmation costumes. All of the kids were adorable. Of coarse they never napped since there were too many great things going on. But they held on until the very end of the party and were perfect little pooches. I was in charge of an art project and put all of the babies foot prints on their first trick or treat bags- who do you think will be getting that candy? David delivered six bales of hey all the way to Churchville before going to work for the morning and then meet us all there after work.
Sunday David worked on getting the house ready for winter and stored a bunch of baby gear in the garage, while I took the babies to the mall to see balloon manor. Which is an annual event, which proceeds got to teens living with cancer. It is a kid friendly haunted house made completely from balloons. It was quite something. At the end they had a man in a balloon costume that wasn't so kid friendly and scared Leona to the point of tears and screaming. Lucas was fascinated and just watched. We had lunch with another Mom and Baby from the group and made it home in time to head right back out with David to join Ann & Ed at their house for Sunday dinner. We had a great time with them since we haven't had a chance to catch up with that side of the family in weeks!
